Porsche Motorsport is celebrating the 25th anniversary of Manthey-Racing GmbH with an extraordinary special model. The 911 GT2 RS Clubsport 25, limited to 30 units, was designed and developed by Porsche and Manthey for track day and circuit use. Like the Porsche 935 presented in 2018, it is based on the 911 GT2 RS Clubsport and is also powered by a 3.8-liter, 515 kW (700 hp) six-cylinder boxer engine with twin-turbo charging. The power comes from a seven-speed Porsche Dual clutch transmission to the rear wheels. The independent design of the 911 GT2 RS Clubsport 25 takes up many vehicle components and elements of well-known and future racing cars from Porsche. Technically and aerodynamically, it bridges the gap between two model generations of the 911.
Porsche is offering the 911 GT2 RS Clubsport 25, which is limited to 30 units, for 525,000 euros plus country-specific VAT. Orders can only be sent to the e-mail address911GT2RSClubsport25@porsche.de . The vehicles are expected to be delivered from January 2022.
The inspiration for the 911 GT2 RS Clubsport 25 was provided by the green and yellow 911 GT3 R from Manthey, which is also known as “Grello” among Nürburgring long-distance fans because of its bright wrapping - a word created from “green” for green and "Yellow" results in yellow. Targeted accents in these colors underline this. The many advanced add-on parts also reflect the know-how that Manthey has acquired in motorsport over the past quarter of a century. Grant Larson, Style Porsche, then took care of the visual fine-tuning. Larson has already designed legendary racing cars such as the 911 RSR and 911 GT3 R as well as the modern 935.
