The BMW i Berlin E-Prix presented by CBMM Niobium (GER) next weekend will also be the exciting final of season 7 of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship and the farewell to BMW i as "Official Vehicle Partner" and as a works team in the first racing series for fully electric formula vehicles. For BMW i Andretti Motorsport and its drivers Jake Dennis (GBR) and Maximilian Günther (GER) anything is still possible in the fight for the world championship title in the team and driver standings. Before the last two races, Dennis is fourth on the airport grounds in Berlin-Tempelhof. In the framework program for the races, the BMW Group will be showing its range of electric series vehicles, the drives of which have benefited greatly from developments in Formula E.

After his second win of the season at the London E-Prix (GBR), Dennis is fourth in the overall standings with 81 points in the last two races and is only 14 points behind the leader Nyck de Vries (NED, Mercedes). Günther has 62 points on the account. In the team standings, BMW i Andretti Motorsport is fifth with 143 points, 22 points behind first place. In the two races on the weekend, two track variants in Tempelhof, which were already known from the previous year, will be used. The Saturday race is completed on the standard course. On Sunday the route will be used in the opposite direction. This requires conversion measures that are carried out overnight. The Saturday race starts at 2 p.m. CEST, the Sunday race at 3:30 p.m.
