With his Porsche 99X Electric, André Lotterer (GER) fought for fourth place in the final race of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship on the Tempelhof Airport Street Circuit on Sunday. The good team result was completed by Pascal Wehrlein (GER), who finished sixth. For Porsche it was the second best team result of the season. As the best German, Pascal Wehrlein finished the first Formula E world championship season in eleventh place. André Lotterer is 17th in the team classification, Porsche is eighth.

With a strong performance in qualifying, the Porsche drivers secured a good starting position for their home race. On the 2.355-kilometer circuit in the capital, which was driven in the opposite direction on Sunday, André Lotterer was in seventh and Pascal Wehrlein in tenth. Due to an accident, the race was stopped shortly after the start and the cars had to return to the pit lane. When the race started again after around 20 minutes behind the safety car, the Porsche 99X Electric gradually made up positions and established themselves in the front field. For many laps they drove directly one behind the other. Although, as on Saturday, he was unable to use a good two minutes of his attack mode for further overtaking maneuvers due to a safety car phase, André Lotterer secured fourth place shortly before the finish with a strong action. Pascal Wehrlein made up a total of four positions and finished sixth.
