Two years earlier than originally expected, Volkswagen is launching a family model ID for the first time. in segment B. The starting price should be between 20,000 and 25,000 euros. The ID. LIFE is the forerunner of this car: The study combines sustainability and digitization and is thus geared towards the needs of the younger generation in urban mobility.

Cameras instead of rear-view mirrors, integration of smartphones, touch surfaces on the steering wheel: operating functions intuitive digital technologies shape the interior of the ID. LIFE. The versatile seating configuration and the retractable projection screen turn it into a playroom or a cinema. The electric motor develops 172 kW (234 hp) on the front wheels, which makes it possible for the ID. LIFE to go from zero to 100 km / h in 6.9 seconds. The WLTP autonomy is about 400 kilometers.
