Leapmotor has unveiled its all-new B03, a smart and agile all-electric supermini (B-segment hatchback) that combines dynamic design, advanced intelligent technologies, and everyday practicality. Representing the latest chapter in Leapmotor’s bold, electrified story, the B03 offers a simple, practical and agile hatchback that sets a new benchmark in the compact EV segment.
The B03 also delivers segment-leading interior space, flexible seating configurations, innovative storage solutions, and a modular boot design that adapts seamlessly to modern lifestyles. Featuring the latest iteration of Leapmotor’s state-of-the-art Cell-to-Chassis architecture, the B03 delivers the latest battery technology and exceptional packaging.
Powered by a 145kW (194hp) front-mounted electric motor producing 200Nm of torque, the B03 accelerates from 0-62mph in 7.6 seconds and reaches a top speed of 101mph. A powerful 53kWh battery delivers up to 242 miles (WLTP) of range, while 133kW DC rapid charging capability enables a 10-80% charge in just 21 minutes.
Finally, in the UK market, the B03 also follows the brand’s clear and simple policy of offering a single, generously appointed trim level that ensures the highest level of specification as standard.
Designed for Connection
The second model to be built on the Leapmotor Compact Electric Platform, following the B03X crossover, the B03 has been designed for modern urban life. Its expressive, contemporary styling delivers a balanced stance that hints at unmatched agility for urban driving, while also conveying poised confidence at rest and dynamism in motion.
Compact dimensions of 4,175mm long, 1,790mm wide, and 1,550mm tall, and a wheelbase of 2,605mm, make the B03 the perfect size for urban excursions. Moreover, the exterior design has been developed to create a warm and approachable personality.
With its clean lines, flowing surfaces, and harmonious proportions, the B03 has a dynamic yet refined presence. The two-tone roof enhances character, and the three-segment slimline LED headlamp signature and emoji-like rear lamps inject a sense of sophisticated fun.

The interior revolves around a Dual Screen Digital Hub, featuring a 14.6-inch central display that’s paired with a slim 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster. The layout has been designed to maximise space and versatility, while also offering a perfect balance between functionality and comfort.
The B03’s distinct personality is reflected in its unique interior trim, which is inspired by the visual rhythm of Morse code - a sequence of dots and dashes translated into decorative patterns used on trim panels, seat surfaces, speaker grilles, and other cabin elements.
Adding a playful touch, subtle details of Leapy, Leapmotor’s mascot, are hidden throughout the cabin as joyful Easter eggs. Integrated into selected interior surfaces and storage areas, these characterful motifs reward closer inspection and reinforce the B03’s warm, approachable personality.
An efficient heat pump keeps the cabin warm by using heat from the battery that would otherwise be wasted. Not only does this allow the interior to warm quickly, but it’s also extremely efficient as, unlike standard heaters, it requires a lot less energy and therefore does not have a significant impact on battery range.
The B03 also features a multicolour ambient lighting system that can be intelligently synced with music, transforming the cabin into a flowing emotional theatre. Multiple modes include static, single-colour breathing, and multi-colour pulsing, plus interactive effects for charging and startup. The system also integrates with parking sensors and door-opening collision warnings for more intuitive, safer user alerts.

Rapid Charging
The B03’s Lithium Ferro-Phosphate (LFP) battery is engineered to charge quickly. With the ability to accept rapid DC charging at up to 133kW, the 53kWh battery can be replenished from 10% to 80% in just 21 minutes, reducing to 16 minutes when charged from 30% to 80%. For convenient overnight charging, Mode 2 AC charging from a 7.4kW charger can replenish the battery from 0-100% in approximately 7 hours 15 minutes.
Leapmotor’s cutting-edge EV architecture also allows for V2L (Vehicle-To-Load) connection featuring a 230V output, which allows users to charge larger and more powerful items.
Cell-to-Chassis 2.0 Plus
First seen on the B03X, this advanced architecture is the front-wheel drive evolution of the brand’s cutting-edge Cell-to-Chassis technology. As before, this design integrates the battery into the structure of the vehicle, introducing a new level of engineering intelligence that fully unlocks the potential for EV mobility.

By integrating the battery into the B03’s structure, Leapmotor’s engineers have also been able to deliver outstanding torsional rigidity. B03’s short overhangs and turning circle of just 9.8 metres make for a very city-friendly car. B03 is front wheel drive. The front suspension is MacPherson independent, and the rear is a torsion beam arrangement.
Advanced Driver Assistance Systems
Safety is a core pillar of the B03 design. As standard, the B03 features an impressive suite of 21 driver assistance systems that support Level-2 semi-autonomous driving.
Equipped with 14 sensors and cameras, these systems offer full dimensional perception architecture, eliminating the limitations of single sensors. As a result, the B03 can predict various road hazards, including rear-end collisions, pedestrians and sudden lane changes of non-motor vehicles, and initiate warnings, braking and steering correction when needed.

Like all Leapmotor models, the B03 follows the brand’s clear and simple policy of offering a single, generously appointed trim level that ensures the highest level of specification as standard. That means every car gets 17-inch alloy wheels, a 360-degree parking camera, automatic air-conditioning, automatic LED headlights and taillights, auto wipers, and electrically operated heated and folding exterior mirrors.
The driver’s seat features six-way power adjustment, while both front seats and the steering wheel are heated. Ambient lighting is also standard, as is the brand’s OEKO-TEX® synthetic leather trim.
The stylish exterior is available with five paint finishes, including Light White, Sunstone Orange, Seaweed Green, Galaxy Silver and Sandstone. For the interior, there’s a stylish Currant Black theme as standard, with Ivory Mist grey available as a no-cost option.
