From an aesthetic point of view, the design of the new Polo TGI has been updated to match the rest of the range and is now being redesigned to include the front and rear areas. The bumpers, the tailgate, together with the headlights and taillights, equipped with LED technology as standard, now in a more refined style. Thanks to the new design of the lights, an unprecedented day and night light signature was created. For the first in combination with the LED Matrix IQ.Light headlights (another novelty, standard in the style setup), the light signature of the LED strip in the grille is also lined up.

The new Polo TGI is powered by a powerful 1-liter three-cylinder turbo engine with 90 hp and 160 Nm of maximum torque between 1,800 and 3,800 rpm, combined with a 6-speed manual transmission. The 0-100 km / h are covered in 12.3 seconds, while the top speed is 183 km / h. Brilliant performance is combined with excellent efficiency: In the WLTP cycle, the new Polo TGI has a combined methane gas consumption of 5.6-5.9 m3 / 100 km, corresponding to CO2 emissions of 100-105 g / km. The new Polo TGI is equipped with three methane gas bottles totaling 13.8 kg, which have more than 350 km of autonomy in real use. As soon as the gas is used up, the car passes autonomously to refuel using the 9-liter reserve tank.
