The two new models will be available with both a combustion engine 1 and a battery-electric drive (BEV). The internal combustion engines are diesel engines combined with a manual or automatic gearbox. The light commercial vehicle from Fiat Professional will be available in three configurations: van, combi and cab with platform. Both model ranges are based on the EMP2 platform, the modular nature of which allows for very different models and segments that meet the specific needs of different markets. The models Peugeot Expert and Traveller, Citroën Jumpy and SpaceTourer as well as Opel/Vauxhall Vivaro and Zafira Life are also built on the same platform.

With their names Fiat Ulysse and Fiat Professional Scudo, the two new models are based on the success of their predecessors. They will expand the product range of the Turin brands and offer a locally emission-free solution for large families, leisure vehicles, shuttle fleets, business customers and outfitters. The well-known and reliable vehicles with combustion engines are joined by the innovative models with purely electric drives.

The new vehicle generation from Fiat and Fiat Professional is an answer to the transition to locally emission-free mobility. In particular, the increasing use of light commercial vehicles in urban areas - partly due to the increasing demand for online delivery services - will make these vehicles an important contributor to reducing emissions in cities. The passenger versions will also allow families to enjoy a 'green', active lifestyle by benefiting from innovative high-tech features, remarkable levels of comfort and space, and advanced safety features.
