Passionate story of a great Italian brand, born in Milan as A.L.F.A. Anonima Lombarda Fabbrica Automobili, factory saved by Eng. Nicola Romeo, who was born in Sant'Antimo (NA) on April 28, 1876 from a Lucanian family from Montalbano Jonico.
On Thursday 24 June, Alfa Romeo will turn 111: on the same day in 1910, the Anonima Lombarda Fabbrica Automobili (A.L.F.A.) was born in Milan, which became Alfa Romeo in 1918 following the acquisition by the engineer and entrepreneur Nicola Romeo.
On that occasion, Alfa Romeo will organize four days of events at the Arese Historical Museum which hosts the brand's most prestigious models. The event will begin on Thursday 24 at 10.00 with the traditional parade open to all private owners of an Alfa Romeo, of any model and seniority, who will be able to parade with their cars on the internal track of the complex. The theme of the parade (and of all four days) will be the tribute to Alfa red, the color that has always distinguished the Alfa Romeo cars to the point of becoming an integral part of Alfa Romeo's DNA: visitors will be invited to wear something red ; also red will be the masks that will be distributed free of charge at the entrance, to enjoy these special days in safety.
