The event was attended by Olivier Francois, FIAT CEO and Global CMO Stellantis, through a video message from Casa 500, the museum that tells the past and future, culture and iconicity of the brand's most precious jewel. To date, half of the Fiat 500s sold are hybrid and the other half electric: it is a clear sign of how the model is in step with the times and in line with increasingly sustainable and environmentally friendly mobility.
In Japan, the new Fiat 500 is offered with an 87 kW (118 hp) electric motor and a 42kWh Lithium-Ion battery. The range consists of two trim levels: Entry, in the sedan version, and Icon for both the convertible and the sedan with premium interior. Five liveries are available: Celestial Blue, Ocean Green, Mineral Gray, Rose Gold and Ice White. The New 500 is the only electric convertible on the Japanese market.
