BMW M4 GT3 premiere in the “Eau Rouge” before the 24 hours of Spa-Francorchamps

The new flagship in the BMW M Motorsport program is premiering in the famous "Eau Rouge": As part of the development work, the BMW M4 GT3 will take part in the official test drives before the 24-hour race in Spa-Francorchamps (BEL). These "Official Test Days" take place on 22./23. June on the Ardennes course. Just a few days later, the first test run under racing conditions is on the agenda for the new BMW M4 GT3 on the Nürburgring-Nordschleife (GER).
For BMW M Motorsport, the 24-hour test drives in Spa-Francorchamps offer the ideal opportunity to test the BMW M4 GT3 on another demanding track under real competitive conditions.

The Spa-Francorchamps 24-hour race has an important place in BMW's motorsport history. With 24 successes so far, the brand is the record winner in the marathon on the Belgian route. The BMW M4 GT3 will compete from 2022 to continue this successful streak. At this year's edition of the long-distance classic on July 31/1. On August 1st, however, he will still take on the role of “spectator” while the BMW M6 GT3 gives its farewell performance in Spa.

The BMW M4 GT3 will complete its first race as part of the fourth round of the Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS) on June 26th on the Nordschleife of the Nürburgring, directly after the test drives in Belgium. The BMW M4 GT3 starts in the NLS in the prototype class SP-X because it has not yet been homologated. In addition, the BMW M4 GT3 competes on the Nordschleife outside of the classification, because it is a test run in racing, which serves to gain important experience with the new vehicle under racing conditions.
