The new MINI John Cooper Works from Bulldog Racing has passed its baptism of fire. In recent weeks, the vehicle has completed the extended test program on the Circuit de Provence near the southern French city of Marseille. The aim of the extensive tests was to gain insights into the permanent load on the chassis and drive components and their durability. BMW Group chassis engineer, Patrick Häussler, was behind the wheel of the 225 kW (306 hp) MINI. Advantage for the racing team: Patrick develops BMW and MINI series products full-time and knows the Miramas test site from years of testing.

Bulldog Racing will continue the development program with the new MINI John Cooper Works in the coming weeks on the Nordschleife. The first race will take place from May 6th to 8th, 2022 at the ADAC 24h Qualifiers on the Nürburgring.
