CUPRA EKS has unveiled the new driver line-up for the FIA ​​​​​​ETCR eTouring Car World Cup with Tom Blomqvist and Adrien Tambay, joined by Mattias Ekström, holder of the inaugural ETCR title, and Jordi Gené, the championship team for the Electric Touring Championship. Blomqvist, son of 1984 World Rally Champion Stig Blomqvist, became Formula Renault's greatest young British champion when he won the title aged just 16 in 2010. The Swede has since competed in German Formula 3, DTM, Formula E competed several times for victory at the Macau Grand Prix. The 28-year-old also raced in the Blancpain GT Series, FIA World Endurance Championship and IMSA SportsCar Championship – victories at both the Spa 24 Hours (2018) and Daytona 24 Hours (2022).

Driver Jordi Gené needs no introduction in CUPRA as he has raced with the brand for most of his career. Recognized as one of the top car touring testers in the world, Gené - fourth in the ETCR Drivers' Championship of the Year - is a fundamental ace in the continued development of CUPRA e-Racer, the world's first 100% electric touring car. 41-year-old Swede Ekstrom, current champion and founder of EKS, is considered one of the most versatile drivers in the world, having competed in the FIA ​​World Rally Championship, NACAR, Bathurst 24 Hours and the Dakar Rally. His career boasts titles such as two-time FIA ​​World Rallycross Champion (2016), DTM Champion (2004 and '07), Swedish Touring Car Champion (1999) and three-time Race of Champions winner (2006, '07 and '09).
