André Lotterer (GER/car number 36) finished ninth in race 12 of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship on Sunday in his Porsche 99X Electric. The day before, his teammate Pascal Wehrlein (GER/car number 94) finished sixth on the Brooklyn Street Circuit with a view of the Statue of Liberty. In the drivers' standings of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship, Pascal Wehrlein is ninth after twelve of 16 races with 63 points. André Lotterer follows in tenth place with the same number of points. In the team classification, the TAG Heuer Porsche Formula E team is in sixth place with 126 points.

After the rain chaos in the canceled race on Saturday, the sun shone over the 2.320-kilometer Brooklyn Street Circuit on Sunday. André Lotterer started from P3 with his Porsche 99X Electric after a strong qualifying performance and reaching the semi-finals. But at the start he only got away with a long delay and lost eight positions as a result. After a strong race, he still finished in the points in ninth place. Pascal Wehrlein had to start from P20 and made up a total of nine places with a catch-up race worth seeing in the Porsche 99X Electric. In eleventh place, he narrowly missed out on points.
