The German car tuner developed various performance upgrades for the biturbo eight-cylinder engine, which elicit a maximum output of 629 kW / 855 hp and a maximum torque of 898 Nm from the top-of-the-line four-liter engine. This specification enables the open fireball to accelerate from standstill to 100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds. The top speed increases to over 330 km/h.
The 9Jx20 front wheels with 255/30 ZR 20 high-performance tires make full use of the available space in the fenders, as do the 12Jx21 alloy wheels on the rear axle, which are fitted with 325/25 ZR 21 tyres. This combination achieves an excellent Traction and excellent cornering and decelerating powers. The NOVITEC sport springs, which lower the Spider by around 20 millimeters, ensure even better driving dynamics.
