BMW M Motorsport teams celebrate further victories in the GT4/TC America.

As part of the supporting program for the Fanatec GT World Challenge America in Road America (USA), BMW M Motorsport teams also competed in GT4 America and TC America again this weekend. They secured further successes in the individual classes. In GT4 America, Rob Walker and Alex Filsinger (both USA) in the #53 Auto Technic Racing BMW M4 GT4 clinched victory in the Am class in the second race. Charlie Postins and James Clay (both USA) finished both races second in the class in the #36 BMW M4 GT4 fielded by BimmerWorld Racing. There was also a podium for Austen Smith and Zac Anderson (both USA) in the #51 Auto Technic Racing BMW M4 GT4: They finished third in the Silver category in race two. Their teammates Tom Capizzi and John Capestro-Dubets (both USA) secured the best placement in the Pro-Am class with fifth place in the first race.
In the TC America, the BMW M Motorsport teams once again battled it out for the top spots. In race one they clinched a sevenfold victory, in race two they even occupied the first nine positions. The dominant winner in both races was reigning champion Jacob Ruud (USA) in the #1 Fast Track Racing BMW M2 CS Racing. Lucas Catania (USA / #26 Rigid Speed) finished second both times. In the first race, Ruud's teammate Garrett Adams (USA / #54 ) completed the podium in third place. In race two, third place went to Colin Garrett (USA / #44 Rooster Hall Racing).
