DTM season finale for BMW M Motorsport at Hockenheim.print

The 2022 DTM season ends next weekend (October 7th to 9th) with the traditional finale at the Hockenheimring (GER). In the DTM driver and team classification, BMW M works driver Sheldon van der Linde (RSA) and BMW M Motorsport Team Schubert Motorsport are fighting for the titles. They come to the final as leaders in both classifications. The CO 2 -reducing RoL E20 fuel from BMW M Motorsport partner Shell will be used for the first time in the BMW M2 Cup. In the DTM Classic Cup, BMW M works driver Bruno Spengler (CAN) will once again be at the start in a historic BMW racing car from the Schnitzer Classic team. And on Friday from 5 p.m. Head of BMW M Motorsport Andreas Roos and the three BMW M works drivers Philipp Eng (AUT), Sheldon van der Linde and Marco Wittmann (GER) will be available to answer questions from the media present.

Two races are still to come in the 2022 DTM season, then the decision in the fight for the title will be made. His team Schubert Motorsport is at the top of the team classification with a total of 185 points and a lead of 43 points.
