At the season finale of the Porsche Carrera Cup Germany, Larry ten Voorde (Team GP Elite) achieved a lights-to-flag victory. On Saturday, the Dutchman won the 15th round of the season at the Hockenheimring Baden-Württemberg ahead of Bastian Buus (Denmark/Allied-Racing) and Porsche Junior Laurin Heinrich (Germany/SSR Huber Racing). “I found my rhythm right away, the race was fun. At first, Bastian Buus was close behind me, but I was able to pull away early and build up a lead,” said ten Voorde. Two title decisions will be made on Sunday: Jan-Erik Slooten (Germany/IronForce Racing by Phoenix) and Carlos Rivas (Luxembourg/Black Falcon) fight for the ProAm championship, Lorcan Hanafin (Great Britain/Fach Auto Tech) against Huub van Eijndhoven (Netherlands/ GP Elite) is the name of the duel for overall rookie victory.

Right from the start, Voorde underlined his ambitions for his fourth win of the season. At the start, the pole setter defended his lead against Buus and then built up a comfortable lead in his 375 kW (510 hp) Porsche 911 GT3 Cup. After 19 laps, ten Voorde won ahead of Buus. For the two-time champion (2020 and 2021), the victory is a special success. This was the 50th time that ten Voorde was on the podium in the German one-make cup – the GP Elite driver won 22 of them. For Buus, silver was the eighth top 3 finish of the current season. The Talent Pool driver received his trophy from Thomas Laudenbach, Head of Porsche Motorsport.
