The Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup remains part of the supporting program of the FIA ​​Formula One World Championship ™ . Both partners have now extended the agreement, which has been running without interruption since 1993, by eight years up to and including 2030. The international one-make cup with the 375 kW (510 hp) Porsche 911 GT3 Cup will start in the 2023 season as part of eight European Grands Prix ™ . The stations are Imola (Italy), Monte Carlo (Monaco), Spielberg (Austria), Silverstone (Great Britain), Budapest (Hungary), Spa-Francorchamps (Belgium), Zandvoort (Netherlands) and Monza (Italy). In addition, the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia and the Porsche Carrera Cup Japan will also retain their places in the supporting program of the Formula 1 races in China and Singapore or Japan until 2030.
In the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup 2023, 28 places are available for registered participants. Depending on the capacity of the race tracks, additional guest starters are also possible. At most of the Supercup races of the past season, 32 911s entertained the fans in the consistently sold-out grandstands.
