There is a lot of history behind the Giulia GTA, starting with the iconic progenitor of 1965, the "Gran Turismo Alleggerita" which collected sporting successes all over the world. Inspired by one of the most successful models in Alfa Romeo's 111-year history, the new Giulia GTA / GTAm represents the ultimate expression in terms of style, mechanics and driving pleasure and will be produced in just 500 numbered units. Equipped with the Alfa Romeo 2.9 V6 Bi-Turbo engine boosted to 540 HP, thanks to the extended adoption of ultralight materials, Giulia GTA / GTAm benefits from a weight reduction of up to 100 kg compared to Giulia Quadrifoglio and accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in just 3.6 seconds. In addition, specific technical solutions have also been developed for aerodynamics, set-up and handling. The project made use of the expertise of Sauber Engineering and Formula 1 team drivers Antonio Giovinazzi and Kimi Räikkönen.
