The spectators in the stands saw a thrilling race with two safety car phases and many battles for positions. Two Dutch riders, ten Voorde and van Buren, formed the front row. Van Buren made optimal use of the 510 hp of his Porsche 911 GT3 Cup to overtake ten Voorde in the first corner. Up to the twelfth lap, the CarTech Motorsport by Nigrin driver defended himself passionately against ten Voorde. Then the current championship leader used a brake in the Hugenholtzbocht - one of the two new banked turns on the converted Formula 1 circuit. After 17 laps ten Voorde drove to victory in front of van Buren.
