It is CUPRA's first 100% electric SUV coupé, and the second all-electric model after Born. It represents the impetus for CUPRA's new design language, which will then be carried over to the brand's future range of electrified cars. CUPRA Tavascan perfectly combines electrification and performance; the most powerful version delivers 250kW (340 HP), is equipped with an all-wheel drive system with two thrusters. CUPRA Tavascan is an emotional SUV aimed at motor enthusiasts, and is equipped with Adaptive Chassis Control (DCC Sport) and progressive steering. Designed and developed in Barcelona, ​​the CUPRA Tavascan will be produced in the Volkswagen Group-owned plant in Anhui, China, already a cutting-edge innovation center for electric mobility.

The CUPRA Tavascan VZ is the top-of-the-range version: The twin-motor set-up (rear engine: 210kW-286hp; front engine: 80kW-109hp) makes it possible to offer even greater dynamism, capable of sending up to 30% of vehicle power to the front wheels, capable of sending up to 30% of vehicle power to the front wheels when more traction is required. The combined output of the system is 250 kW (340 PS), with maximum torque of 545 Nm and 134 Nm for the rear and front motors respectively.
