Porsche Penske Motorsport put in a strong performance in the previous race at Watkins Glen: For the second time this season, a Porsche 963 crossed the finish line first. However, a minimal deviation during the technical follow-up check cost victory in the 6-hour race - and the championship lead. As a result, the team has a score to settle and is highly motivated for the 2:40-hour visit to Canada next weekend. On the 3.957 km long, former Grand Prix circuit near the metropolis of Toronto, the team wants to shine with a flawless performance and reward itself with a top result for the work it has done and the consistent progress over the past few weeks.
