Although the twelve-cylinder, naturally aspirated engine with a displacement of 6.5 liters remains untouched, the NOVITEC engineers found additional performance potential on the exhaust side. In order to unlock it, they conducted complex tests to develop a high-performance exhaust system with optimized exhaust flow and special thermal insulation. Customer can choose between different variants with or without active sound management by means of integrated butterfly valves.
After the installation of the complete NOVITEC exhaust system, which also saves weight compared with the stock exhaust, the engine of the 812 Competizione produces an impressive 26 kW / 36 hp more than with the production exhaust. Propelled by 637 kW / 866 hp at 9,200 rpm and a peak torque of 711 Nm at 6,950 rpm, the powerful sports car with a curb weight of just under 1,500 kilograms delivers yet more dynamic performance.
The decision to install rims of different diameters on the front and rear axle places even greater emphasis on the wedge shape of the front-engine berlinetta. The attached photos show the sports car fitted with NOVITEC NF 10 ZV rims of size 10Jx21 at the front with 275/30 ZR 21 high-performance tires. The rear axle runs on wheels of size 12.5Jx22 with 335/25 ZR 22 tires. These wheels with five delicate twin-spoke pairs and stylized centerlock on the hub cover perfectly transfer the motor racing legend of Ferrari to the road-going sports car.
