The decision about victory in the fourth round of the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup was made long after crossing the finish line. The French guest driver Marvin Klein was the first to be flagged on the Hungaroring. The subsequent technical examination showed, however, that the amount of gasoline in the tank of the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup from Team CLRT was below the prescribed remaining two kilograms. Klein was then disqualified by the stewards. The victory thus went to the previously runner-up, leader of the standings Larry ten Voorde (Team GP Elite) from the Netherlands.

Larry ten Voorde could not be happy about the inherited victory. "Marvin was clearly the best today, a few kilograms of gasoline on board would not have made any difference," he said, paying tribute to the guest driver. The reigning Supercup champion thus extended his lead in the standings to 17 points ahead of New Zealander Jaxon Evans (Martinet by Alméras), who was ranked second. Third place went to the Frenchman Florian Latorre in the second nine-eleven from CLRT.
