The Korean brand's first electric car combines a striking design, advanced safety systems and extensive equipment with a powerful electric drive. Customers can choose from the three equipment lines Bronze, Platinum and Titanium. Even the entry-level version comes with automatic air conditioning, the keyless smart key access system, light and rain sensors, a 12.3-inch digital instrument display behind the multifunction steering wheel and a smart audio system with an eight-inch touchscreen, smartphone integration and six speakers and reversing camera. The "Deep Control" assistance systems ensure safety, which combine, among other things, an automatic emergency braking system, a lane departure warning system and a traffic flow assistant, traffic sign recognition, an attention warning system and adaptive cruise control.

Propulsion is always provided by a 140 kW/190 hp electric motor, which sends a maximum torque of 360 Nm to the front wheels. The 61.5 kWh battery of the Korando e-Motion enables a range of up to 339 kilometers (WLTP). The high-voltage battery can be charged from 20 to 80 percent in 33 minutes at CCS quick-charging stations, and charging takes place conveniently overnight at the home wall box. The charging process can also be easily planned in advance using the navigation display in the center console – from the start and end times to the maximum charging percentage.

The standard heat pump also brings the battery up to temperature quickly, which protects the range. The driver can also use shift paddles on the steering wheel to set how much recuperation the vehicle uses as soon as you take your foot off the accelerator. The higher the level set, the more the Stromer decelerates – and accordingly feeds back more braking energy.
