The first victory was a milestone for Porsche in Formula E. After the double success in Mexico, the TAG Heuer Porsche Formula E Team is now highly motivated and with great expectations on the way to Rome. The fourth and fifth season of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship will be held in the Eternal City on April 9th and 10th. With the Porsche 99X Electric, Pascal Wehrlein (GER/car number 94) and André Lotterer (GER/car number 36) want to build on their strong performances from Mexico together with the team on the 3.380-kilometer Circuito Cittadino dell'EUR.

In the overall standings of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship, Porsche is third in the title race ahead of the race in Rome. Also third in the drivers' standings is Mexican winner Pascal Wehrlein, who also secured pole position. André Lotterer follows in fourth place with the same number of points. "If we want to fight for the world championship to the end," says Florian Modlinger, overall project manager for Formula E, "we have to be competitive on all racetracks. That is our goal.”
