After setting his best time in qualifying, André Lotterer (GER) narrowly missed the third podium of the season for the TAG Heuer Porsche Formula E team at the London E-Prix. When he wanted to activate it for the second time, Lotterer missed one of the three route markings that he would have had to cross. As a result, he fell back to fifth place at the beginning of the second half of the race. Due to the disqualification of a competitor, he moved up one position. His team-mate Pascal Wehrlein, who in fourth place in New York City narrowly missed his second podium for Porsche, started and finished the race in twelfth position. Due to the disqualification of a team, it made it into the points in tenth place.
