21-07-2024 20:03 - CAR NEWS
With the Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid and the Panamera GTS, Porsche presents the sporty top models in the series. The particularly dynamic driving setup of the Panamera GTS sets standards in terms of purism and agility. The Turbo S E-Hybrid, on the other hand, impresses with its range between luxurious driving characteristics and top performance suitable for the race track.
The GTS models from Porsche are characterized by their distinctive, sporty design across all series. Black GTS lettering on the sides and rear of the vehicle, a special front section, darkened HD Matrix LED headlights and taillights, and red brake callipers also make the Panamera GTS unmistakable. The standard sports package includes body parts in satin black. These include sill panels, inserts in the front area, side window strips, and the lower part of the rear. The tailpipes of the sports exhaust system are in dark bronze. This creates an exciting contrast. The 21-inch Turbo S wheels with central locking, painted anthracite gray, add another accent.

Porsche underlines the role of the Turbo models as the pinnacle of the series with a distinctive rear lower section and a specific front section in the body color. At the rear, chrome-plated tailpipes in dark bronze round off the picture. The standard equipment on the Turbo S E-Hybrid also includes the Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake (PCCB) with yellow-painted brake callipers. The E-Hybrid's typical color acid green is optionally available.

The new Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid is the most powerful Panamera ever built in series. Its V8 biturbo produces 441 kW (600 hp), the power of the electric motor, which is fully integrated into the housing and the cooling circuit of the PDK, is 140 kW (190 hp). The system output has been increased by 75 kW (102 hp) to 575 kW (782 hp) compared to its predecessor, and the system torque has increased by 150 Nm to 1,000 Nm. The Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds and reaches a top speed of 325 km/h. This corresponds to an improvement of 25 km/h and 0.5 seconds.

The abbreviation GTS stands for "Gran Turismo Sport". Porsche models with this name stand for an extra portion of sportiness and maximum driving pleasure with high everyday suitability. A sporty chassis, an exclusive SportDesign package and a sporty, high-quality interior also characterize the Panamera GTS in accordance with this philosophy. It represents a particularly direct and dynamic variant of the luxury sports sedan. The powerful, comprehensively redesigned V8 biturbo engine plays a large part in the particularly intense driving experience in the Panamera GTS. It offers linear power development that is clearly noticeable even at speeds of more than 1,000 rpm.

The engine produces 368 kW (500 hp), 20 hp more than the engine of its predecessor. The result is better performance and more dynamics with increased efficiency. The four-door sports car accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds. The top speed is 302 km/h. The standard sports exhaust system of the Panamera GTS was specially developed with the aim of producing a powerful and emotional sound.
