Paul Miller Racing BMW M4 GT3 in second place in the GTD class.

19-07-2022 09:53 - MOTORSPORT
At the home race for Paul Miller Racing, Sellers and Madison Snow (USA) showed a strong recovery from seventh on the grid to second place in the GTD class after a disappointing qualifying session. That podium finish would have been success enough, but a last-minute fuel delivery problem at the leading Mercedes gave Sellers and Snow the acclaimed win. In the Sprint Cup, which evaluates all IMSA races with a maximum length of 2:40 hours, Paul Miller Racing extended its lead.

BMW M Team RLL and Turner Motorsport had to withdraw their vehicles from the race early. The MOTUL BMW M4 GT3 experienced technical problems on lap 77, the Turner Motorsport vehicle retired on lap 33. The IMSA season continues on the first weekend in August at Road America (USA).
