Larry ten Voorde (Team GP Elite) ended the season in the Porsche Carrera Cup Germany with a one-two. After his success on Saturday, the Dutchman also won the 16th championship round at the Hockenheimring Baden-Württemberg on Sunday. "It's a great way to end the season! It's always tight in the Porsche Carrera Cup, so to be honest I didn't expect two such impressive victories. Unfortunately, it wasn't enough for the title this year, but I'm still proud of our performance," said ten Voorde. Bastian Buus (Denmark/Allied-Racing) took second place ahead of Dylan Pereira (Luxembourg/IronForce Racing by Phoenix). In addition, the decisions were made in the ProAm and Rookie class: Carlos Rivas (Luxembourg/Black Falcon) can call himself ProAm Champion 2022, Lorcan Hanafin (Great Britain/Fach Auto Tech) is the new overall rookie winner. A total of 32 drivers started at the season finale on the ADAC GT Masters platform.

In front of 26,000 spectators, ten Voorde celebrated a successful weekend: the 26-year-old clinched two pole positions and the fourth and fifth wins of the season at the traditional German circuit. The spectators in the stands saw an eventful Sunday race with many wheel-to-wheel duels. Ten Voorde appeared calm from the start in his 375 kW (510 hp) Porsche 911 GT3 Cup, broke away from the field early and crossed the finish line in first place after 19 laps. Buus acted in a similarly confident manner, holding second place over the entire race distance. The 19-year-old from the one-make cup talent pool squad made it onto the podium in eight of the 16 races of the season.
