The Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations high-octane was held in RedBud , Michigan from September 23-25. It is the largest traditional motocross event in the world of the season, and is only the fifth time held in the United States in its 75-year history. 34 teams respectively represented as many countries and each of these was composed of the three best riders of MXGP, MX2, Open, selected by the respective national motorcycle federation. On the occasion of the event, the 100% American brand RAM was also a partner of MXoN Promoter, Infront Moto Racing, with four of its best models: two RAM 1500 Rebels, a RAM 1500 Limited, a RAM 2500 Power Wagon. During the event, more than 80,000 spectators were able to admire the models with a “strong” aesthetic and high performance, in line with the spirit of racing and perfect to meet the expectations of motocross fans. RAM's participation in the Monster Energy FIM Motocross Of Nations USA Red Bud was the worthy conclusion to an extraordinary year, which saw the RAM brand join forces with Red Bull KTM Factory Racing and its champion Tom Vialle, winner of the MX2 World Championship.
The US team was one of the favorites and did not disappoint. Composed of Eli Tomac, Justin Cooper, Chase Sexton finished ahead of French and Australian rivals, winning the title for the first time since 2011 in Saint Jean d'Angely. Additionally, it was the 33rd time the United States took the podium, as well as the 23rd victory out of 39 attempts, making it the most successful nation in Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations history. The three winning teams then moved from the podium to the Media Center in RAM vehicles, where they were acclaimed by journalists from around the world. Furthermore, on Friday 23rd the traditional MX of Nation Teams Parade was held aboard the RAM Trucks, broadcast live on the MXGP channel of YouTube and Facebook and on MXGP-TV. The public enthusiastically welcomed the RAM vehicles, with the same warmth and pride shown during Saturday practice and Sunday racing. The American pickup was exhibited along the track and was also used for some recordings with GoPro cameras, attracting the attention of dozens of television crews present at the race.
