Great emotion yesterday in Brescia, on the occasion of the victory of the 1929 Alfa Romeo 6C 1750 Super Sport of the Villa Trasqua team, led by the duo Vesco-Salvinelli. The historical re-enactment race ended rightly with the uncorking of a bottle of sparkling wine and in our opinion the team of this historic car has every reason to celebrate, in fact the legendary 1000 Miglia was carried out from 1927 to 1957, only cars that participated in those years or similar models can participate.

At the passage of the 1000 Miglia the roads are transformed and after about 1800 kilometers, finally the way back home. Without the hundreds of red signs that mark the way you get lost. And we are surprised because the roundabouts are no longer privileged stalking points for photographers, and without the support of the public the desire to accelerate passes. A generous warmth, from Brescia to Rome and back, in every square and outside every door, spontaneous aggregations that are repeated from year to year. Eyes on the “traveling museum”, and lots of flashes and appreciation for the Alfa Romeos in the official fleet in support of the competition.

The "guest" car, the Alfa Romeo 1900 Sport Spider driven by Roberto Giolito, director of Heritage, arrived in Brescia at 4.30 pm, followed by the rest of the caravan which saw the prevailing 1929 Alfa Romeo 6C 1750 Super Sport by the duo Vesco-Salvinelli. Thus, an exceptional edition of the 1000 Miglia is on file, which has further consolidated, if possible, the link between the "Freccia Rossa" and Alfa Romeo.
