The new PEUGEOT electric vans: E-Partner, E-Expert and E-Boxer.

18-11-2023 19:08 - COMMERCIAL VEHICLES
As a major player in the light commercial vehicle market, PEUGEOT is currently carrying out an offensive by updating all models, including with its 100 percent electric light commercial vehicles: E-Partner, E-Expert and E-Boxer. These models are an essential part of PEUGEOT's LCV range and at the same time an important part of the lion brand's electrification strategy. PEUGEOT will offer one of the widest ranges of major brand electric vehicles in Europe. The brand aims to offer an electric version of every model in the range in 2025 and to become a 100% electric brand in Europe by 2030. More environmental zones, an average driving distance of less than 200 kilometers per day, lower operating costs, more driving comfort: switching to 100 percent electric vehicles is advantageous for working people. PEUGEOT's new range of 100 percent electric light commercial vehicles is efficient and uncompromising. To keep business running smoothly, PEUGEOT offers a full range of maintenance and service contracts for up to 8 years and 200,000 kilometers.

New PEUGEOT E-Partner

Updated design, even more driving pleasure and safety, emission-free range of up to 330 km 2 (WLTP cycle, subject to final homologation), heat pump for extra comfort while increasing efficiency. The new PEUGEOT E-Partner has become the ideal vehicle for demanding professionals. The PEUGEOT E-Partner is a key player in the 100 percent electric van market, which is expected to account for a third of the European van segment by 2025. The new PEUEGOT E-Partner offers a range of up to 330 km 2 (WLTP cycle, subject to final homologation). By installing the batteries under the floor, the charging volume is retained. The usable volume is up to 4.4 m 3 , while the payload of 780 kg and the trailer load of 750 kg set standards in this segment.

The PEUGEOT E-Partner offers a maximum power of 100 kW (136 hp) and a maximum torque of 270 Nm, combined with a 50 kWh battery (usable capacity). Three driving modes are available: Eco for maximum range, Power for maximum performance under full load and Normal. PEUGEOT teams have also worked on the overall efficiency of the vehicle to achieve the following performance figures: 130 km/h top speed, 0 to 100 km/h in 11.2 seconds while improving the range, which is now up to 330 km 2 (WLTP cycle, subject to final homologation). To optimize the range, the new PEUGEOT E-Partner has a regenerative braking system that can be activated in three stages using paddle shifters behind the steering wheel. Another novelty is a heat pump that improves passenger comfort while contributing to the efficiency and therefore the range of the new PEUGEOT E-Partner. With a standard 7.4 kW on-board charger and an 11 kW on-board charger (optional), the PEUGEOT E-Partner enables efficient charging regardless of the available infrastructure. DC fast charging offers 100 kW. In Germany, the maximum single-phase charging power in private areas is usually limited to 4.6 kW. Up to 7.4 kW is possible at public charging points.

New PEUGEOT E-Expert

The front of the new PEUGEOT E-Expert corresponds to the new look of the PEUGEOT range: a redesigned grille with the brand's new emblem in the center, new full-LED headlights with the light signature of the lion brand and an optimized bumper. The new PEUGEOT E-Expert is powered by an electric motor with an output of 100 kW (136 hp) and a maximum torque of 260 Nm. This ensures optimal performance from the start up to a top speed of 130 km/h. There are three driving modes: Eco to maximize range, Power for maximum performance under full load and Normal. In order to meet the requirements, PEUGEOT offers two battery variants for the new PEUGEOT E-Expert. The PEUGEOT E-Expert with the 50 kWh battery offers a range of up to 224 km (WLTP cycle, subject to final homologation). It is particularly suitable for use in city traffic and is available as a standard and long version. The PEUGEOT E-Expert with the 75 kWh battery offers a range of up to 350 km (WLTP cycle, subject to final homologation), making it extremely versatile regardless of the chassis.

To optimize range, the new PEUGEOT E-Expert is equipped with a regenerative braking system that can be activated in three different levels using paddle shifters behind the steering wheel. With a 7.4 kW on-board charger and an 11 kW on-board charger (optional), the PEUGEOT E-Expert can be charged efficiently with a 100 kW fast charger, regardless of the available infrastructure.

The hydrogen fuel cell electric version of the new PEUGEOT E-Expert (at the time of this report the new PEUGEOT E-Expert Hydrogen 1 is not yet available to order) will have a range of up to 400 km (WLTP cycle, subject to final homologation). It is a "mid-power plug-in hydrogen fuel cell electric" system that combines the advantages of hydrogen, battery technology and electric propulsion. In addition, PEUGEOT offers a wide range of Expert models with 88 kW ( 120 hp) or 107 kW (145 hp) BlueHDi engines in combination with a six-speed manual transmission and BlueHDi 133 kW (180 hp) with an eight-speed automatic transmission. The latter is also available with the BlueHDi 107 kW (145 hp).

New PEUGEOT E-Boxer

With its unprecedented 200 kW (270 HP) electric motor and a range of up to 420 km (WLTP cycle, subject to final homologation), the PEUGEOT E- Boxer a new era. With driving comfort and safety that set new standards in its category, the new PEUGEOT E-Boxer is more than the choice for professionals who care about their performance and freedom of movement. The new PEUGEOT E-Boxer also has new electrical components, from the engine to the battery. The drive system now produces 200 kW (270 hp), and the torque has also increased significantly to 400 Nm for optimal driving pleasure. The battery of the new PEUGEOT E-Boxer has a capacity of 110 kWh and offers an impressive range of up to 420 km 2 (WLTP cycle, subject to final homologation). The maximum speed is 130 km/h. The new PEUGEOT E-Boxer 1 has three driving modes that can be selected on the instrument cluster to optimize the vehicle's performance and range depending on the situation: Normal for versatile use (power limited to 160 kW), Eco for optimal range ( Power limited to 120 kW) or power for maximum power (total power of 200 kW). Four levels of regenerative braking can be activated using the paddle shifters behind the steering wheel. The PEUGEOT E-Boxer is equipped with an 11 kW on-board charger, offering a charging power suitable for all applications and infrastructures, while the on-board charger can reach a power of 150 kW.

The new PEUGEOT E-Boxer is available in different versions. Based on a wheelbase (4.04 m), the panel vans are available in two lengths (L3 and L4), so that a total of 4 variants with 13 to 17 m 3 are available. As a basis for specific conversions, the PEUGEOT E-Boxer with a 4.04 m wheelbase is also available as a chassis in L3 or L4 with a single cab and a double cab. In addition to the new E-Boxer, PEUGEOT also offers a wide range of Boxer models with the 2.2 l BlueHDi engine in 3 power levels - 88 kW (120 HP), 103 kW (140 HP) and 132 kW (180 HP). – combined with a six-speed manual transmission. An all-new eight-speed automatic transmission is available for the 103 kW (140 hp) and 132 kW (180 hp) engines. At the time of this report, all versions of the PEUGEOT E-Boxer cannot yet be ordered. The new PEUGEOT Boxer with combustion engine has the same optimizations as the new PEUGEOT E-Boxer , both in terms of design and equipment, as well as a range of versions and extended lengths to suit different uses.
