Universo Ferrari: the world of the prancing horse pays homage to India
20-10-2026 20:18 - EVENTS
on Saturday, Ferrari officially opened Universo Ferrari in New Delhi, bringing its immersive experience to India for the first time. After an initial exclusive moment reserved for clients, media, partners and institutions including His Excellency Antonio Bartoli, Ambassador of Italy to India, over the weekend, the exhibition is open to the public until 1 November. Universo Ferrari India will be celebrating every dimension of Ferrari and offers an exceptional opportunity to discover the heritage, innovation, performance, craftsmanship and community that define the Prancing Horse.
Universo Ferrari marks a further reinforcement in Ferrari’s enduring relationship with India, a fast-growing market that is home to a passionate community of sports car connoisseurs. Alongside deeper engagement with clients, Ferraristi, enthusiasts and future talent, Ferrari plans to expand its retail presence with new openings by the end of 2026 in South and Western India.
The exhibition was inaugurated by Benedetto Vigna, Ferrari Chief Executive Officer, who highlighted the importance of the Prancing Horse’s relationship with the country: “Universo Ferrari an invitation to experience the world of Ferrari in its entirety: our racing spirit, our sports cars, our lifestyle, our heritage, and our constant drive to innovate. The first edition in India reflects the importance we place on building an enduring relationship with this nation and its growing community of Ferraristi, clients and enthusiasts.”
Designed as an immersive journey through the Ferrari universe, the exhibition presents the brand’s heritage, racing DNA, technological innovation, design excellence and commitment to creating unforgettable emotions. Dedicated environments span Sports Cars with the current range, including Ferrari Luce and Tailor Made areas, Racing, Ferrari Classiche, a focus on Ferrari in India, Community, Hypersail and a highlight on the Company's continued commitment to Co-Prosperity.
In this regard, as Ferrari also believes that education is the truest form of long-term investment in a community, an exclusive charity auction was held during the client dinner, together with Avélon Luxe, the new partner of the Ferrari Hypercar and Challenge Middle East series. The auction represented the world of Ferrari with ten lots, and the Ferrari community answered with its customary generosity for Ferrari’s initiatives with Save the Children, Bal Raksha Bharat, India. These funds will help open the door to quality education for children from underserved communities, supporting school readiness and foundational learning, providing essential learning materials, and strengthening teaching and classrooms.
Universo Ferrari has brought the spirit of Maranello some 6,000 km to India, inspiring clients, enthusiasts and the wider public. As a tribute to Universo Ferrari, 25 Ferraris embarked on a unique journey of approximately 1,800 kilometers across India, travelling from Mumbai through Vadodara, Udaipur, Jaipur and Agra before arriving in New Delhi, bringing together the pleasure of driving, discovery and the shared passion for the Prancing Horse.
EXHIBITION AREAS
Racing
The Racing displays include the Scuderia Ferrari SF-26 Formula 1 car, the triple Le Mans-winning 499P and the 296 GT3. The Ferrari Challenge area features the 296 Challenge, the first 6-cylinder engine car of the single make series of the Prancing Horse.
Ferrari Hypersail, the company’s pioneering sailing project, is also presented as part of the exhibition. It demonstrates how Ferrari’s culture of technological innovation and performance can flow seamlessly from track and road into a new racing arena.
Sports Cars
The breadth of the Ferrari Sports Cars range is represented by the 849 Testarossa Spider, the Ferrari 12Cilindri Spider, the Ferrari Amalfi Spider and the F80, the Prancing Horse’s latest supercar. Visitors can also discover the Ferrari Luce through a display of the car and a dedicated exhibition that reveals the ideas, technologies and craftsmanship that shaped this remarkable project. The Icona project is represented by the Ferrari Daytona SP3 and a display of its breath-taking 840-cv V12 engine. Together, they illustrate Ferrari’s continuing pursuit of innovation, performance and driving emotion.
The sheer scope of Ferrari personalisation available is represented by a Ferrari Tailor Made 12Cilindri Manuale, while the Ferrari Classiche area brings together the F50, the Ferrari 365 GTB4 and a Ferrari Classiche dedicated exhibition space. A very special Ferrari 612 Scaglietti is also on display. This car took part in the 2008 Magic India Discovery tour, a 13,000-km tour of the country and was driven by more than 50 international journalists, effectively representing the first testimony of Ferrari’s presence within the country. The tour brought India’s varied landmarks and spectacular scenery into homes far beyond its borders.
A dedicated project celebrates the country’s cultural richness through ten exclusive Ferrari Tailor Made configurations shown on five Ferrari 12Cilindri and five Ferrari Purosangue. Each is inspired by one of ten Indian cities: Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, Jaipur, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Varanasi and Goa. Developed with input from students from the National Institute of Design and translated by Ferrari Design Studio, the project reinterprets the atmosphere, energy and identity of each city through colours, materials and patterns.
